Keeping a fire going has many advantages including warmth, security, light, and ability to boil water. A blend of paraffin wax, wood pellets and volcanic rock, InstaFire is the fastest, safest, and easiest way to start a fire.

SUSTAIN SURVIVAL STRAW

Purpose: Water filtration

Clean water is essential to survival. Drinking water that hasn’t been treated or filtered can lead to serious illness. The Sustain Survival Straw is rated to filter up to 1,500 liters, or 396 gallons, of water and has a flow rate of 450 milliliters per minute. Free of BPA materials, this straw keeps harmful chemicals out of drinking water during outdoor travels.

PORTABLE STOVE AND COOKWARE

Purpose: Heating food and water

This compact and lightweight stainless steel stove gives you a safe place to start your fire. Incredibly durable and easy to store, it also includes an anodized aluminum cookware set to boil water or prepare a meal.

LARGE BACK PACK

This thoughtfully designed bag is made of ultra-tough 600D polyester and is water resistant. WISE COMPANY® FOOD

Purpose: A backup source of calories and nutrition

A nutritious, hot meal restores a sense of normalcy and provides comfort to an emergency event. Wise Company meals are high in vitamins and minerals and taste great. Simply tear open the pouch, add hot water, wait about 10 minutes and you have a hot and tasty meal. Heat, stir, enjoy.

BOWLS AND UTENSILS

Purpose: Preparing and Eating Food

Since we include real food in our kits, we don't expect you to eat with your hands. The collapsible bowls clean easily and the spoon/fork combo is very versatile.

FIRST AID KIT

Purpose: Treat injuries and illnesses

Ideal for minor cuts, scrapes and injuries, our 81 piece first aid kit is stocked with bandages, pain relievers and antiseptics. Be sure to add your personal prescription medication to complete the kit.

FERROCERIUM ROD

An excellent fire-starting tool as it doesn't rely on fuel and you can start thousands of fires with just this one rod. Matches will only get you so far, but a tool that can start thousands of fires? Sign us up. Simply scrape in a downward motion rapidly toward your tinder, and in no time you have fire.

EMERGENCY BLANKETS

Purpose: Warmth

These aren't the cheap blankets you get after running a marathon. These are dual-layered to help maintain your core body temperature. Drape loosely around you and it will reflect up to 90% of your body heat back to you - keeping you as warm as possible. Conversely, you can reverse the blank to reflect heat away.

LED FLASHLIGHTS

Purpose: Directional Illumination

Compact and with adjustable focus, our LED flashlight emits a powerful beam of light. The ability to narrow or widen the beam, water-resistance, and construction of military-grade steel, make it the perfect choice to include in your emergency kit.

LED LANTERN

Purpose: Ambient Illumination

A little powerhouse, this collapsing 30-LED lantern provides 360° of bright light. Perfect for general illumination, it can also be hung by its arms for added versatility. Height-adjustable, you determine how much light it emits. Batteries not included.

DATREX® WATER

Purpose: Hydration

In an emergency, water is a precious resource and your Sustain Supply kit comes stocked with it. Datrex set the standard in emergency water and tastes like premium bottled water. Each packet or purified water is approximately 4.25 ounces and has a 5-year shelf life. U.S. Coast Guard Approved.

CYALUME SNAPLIGHTS

Purpose: Portable Illumination

The gold standard and inventor of chemical light technology some 50 years ago, Cyalume is a name synonymous with quality. Originally designed for the U.S. Navy, these light sticks are non-toxic, non-flammable and made right here in the USA. Bend, snap, shake and watch them glow for at least 12 hours.

WHISTLES

Purpose: Signaling for help

The sound of a whistle carries further than the human voice. During an emergency situation, place the whistle around your neck with lanyard. Three short blasts on your whistle is the universal signal for help. We include a whistle for each person in the party in the event you get separated.
